Mike has been playing guitar for about 20 years receiving his only guitar instruction in the fifth grade. 

Prior to that, at the age of eight, his father gave him his first guitar, an acoustic Silvertone.

His playing style is a direct result of bands like Van Halen, Ratt, Iron Maiden, Ozzy, Alice and Chains and more currently Sevendust, Korn, Drowning Pool and Mudvayne.  He has been in several original bands and one or two cover bands throughout the years mainly focusing on writing his own music.  The 6 string has been his main weapon until recently finding that the 7 string pushes his raw playing ability over the top.

Mikes intensity and charisma can be seen on and off stage through his passion of playing heavy hard rock music.
