He’s been playing Bass for years and years only playing in original metal bands. Citing Geezer Butler and Black Sabbath, Old Metallica, Priest, Maiden, Overkill, Savatage, Thin Lizzy, Billy Sheenan, Anthrax, Armored Saint, Megadeth and Rob Caperila as early influences to his bass playing style. He continues to listen to old favorites and new ones such as Shadows Fall, Iced Earth, Korn, Mudvayne, Lamb of God, and Drowning Pool, which directly impact his style and the songs D.O.C. are writing.
